During June-September, the Butterfly Valley is full of Jersey Tiger Moths, creating an unusual, but very beautiful phenomenon. This totally natural park is full of different kinds of trees and local wild plants. At the cafeteria in the Valley, you can relax and enjoy the spot, having beverages or soft drinks.

We will begin our tour from the area of Kakapetra, just behind the main town of Parikia, to the popular Butterfly Valley, otherwise known as “Petaloudes” in Greek, which is located at a distance of 5 kilometers from our starting point to the south of Parikia.
