Explore the breathtaking landscapes of Santorini. A tour that gives you the opportunity to admire the traditional architecture of Oia with its white-washed buildings, light-blue doors and gorgeous terraces and the stunning views to the volcano from the capital Fira. Transfer from your hotel (or a stop located next to your hotel) to the port of Piso Livadi. Cruise starts at 08:00 a.m. and returns at 19:20 pm. Transfer back to your hotel or a stop located next to it.
Activities
Our cruise begins at 08:00 from Piso Livadi. Until there, we can transfer you safely and comfortably with our buses by booking the transfer services of our agency.
You will stay for about 1½hr in Oia, where the Nautical museum, which is housed in an old mansion, is
worth a visit. The boats built in Santorini were the first that travelled in the Aegean 7.000 years ago, so the nautical art in the island is really ancient.
Following the excursion, you will visit the capital of the island, Fira, for 2½ hr. Fira is built in a unique way in the entire world on the top of the cliffs. There you can visit the Spiritual Center at the Venetian Gyzi Palace, in the center of the Catholic Quarter, where cultural events such as painting exhibitions and theatrical performances take place. There is also a permanent exhibition with old maps and documents relating to Santorini and the rest of the Cyclades.
Interesting will be the visit to the Archaeological Museum, which contains many findings representative of the island’s long history, mainly vases and figurines of Cycladic civilization. Then you have some free time to walk around and take beautiful pictures.
At 16:30 you will get on board and at 19:20 you will be back at Piso Livadi.
